General Rules of Warcraft
1. Do not start role-playing until your application has been accepted. This usually happens within 24 hours, if no one has looked at your application within 48 hours, please contact an admin.
2. We are an account per character site meaning each character has its own account. OOC accounts are required for members, to post in plotters and other areas that do not include any roleplay. Please register character accounts in proper case (i.e. Yhu Silverpetal). OOC accounts should be made prior to character accounts.
3. You can have as many characters as you desire. If you take more than you can actively keep up with, simply contact Sargeras and say you want to make so-so an NPC. If you do not do that, and we find out that you can not handle all your characters, you will be blocked from making any more characters until you can become active enough to handle everything.
4. Do not have two of your characters in one thread without anyone else, we would rather you role-play with others rather than yourself. No threads with just your characters, there must be at least one other player.
5. Be patient for replies, if it takes more than three days you are more than welcomed to remind them. If they continue to not post, just skip them for now. If a user does this regularly, please contact an Admin. REMINDER: Do not repeatedly pester then for posts, that becomes annoying fast to the person your bothering.
6. Please try to make at least a solid paragraph, a few sentences at the least. You want to give enough to your roleplaying partner to respond to and give a decent post back.
7. We have Liquid Time, that means a character can be in multiple threads at once, but make sure you think about the passage of time. When making a thread, please state the time and location. It will then automatically be added to the Timeline of the site by an admin. You may not make any thread that is past the current date, that means if it is December 1st, you can not make a thread that is December 5th.
8. We will not tolerate any kind of hatred or bullying against other members. We accept everyone, no matter what, so if you start any fights you will either be temporarily banned or permanently depending on the offense! Keep drama off the site if it is not in the role-play. This also means keeping IC drama in IC.
9. This site will have death, violence, and profanity. Although there will be no sexual role-plays tolerated on the site. If you must do it, cut to black and use discord or some other chat channel. This is constant war, so expect death, blood, and profanity! Your actions will have consequences, so be mindful that if you disobey orders, or attack a fellow soldier, you may be put in jail or even die.
10. Character death is and will be a -very- common thing on this site. Death is everywhere, so there is a high chance for your character to die or get heavily injured. There is also a chance it will be without permission, although it will rarely happen.
Rules of Character Creation
1. When submitting a new character, make sure to use the entire template. You may add fields, but do not remove any. The title should be the first name then the last name of the said character. For help, contact an admin.
2. Your first character must be from one of the major factions. This is to keep it balanced and realistic. Most people involved with the site plot will be from one of the two factions, the Alliance, and the Horde. Don't be discouraged though, any character after this may be in any faction(such as the Shado-Pan, a Tuskarr Tribe, etc.). You may also have a 'secondary' or minor affiliation, besides your main faction.
3. To earn the right and privilege to create one of the many vast races not in the Starter Races list, you must get an accepted character and post ten times. This does not mean chatting in an OOC thread, you must post ten role-playing posts. Trust me, it is not that hard, and I created it that way.
4. Canons are a vital part of the story and function of the site. You may have up to one major character. You can also have up to two prominent characters, and up to six minor characters. Canons are required to post at least once per month. During events that they are important to the story, you must post at least once a week.
5. While all characters can have pets and animals, only hunters may start with animals wolf-sized and bigger. Anyone that is not a hunter can start with pets, but nothing wolf-sized or larger. If you are in doubt, ask an admin. Be aware, anyone can get larger animals through role-play! (Mounts do not count as pets, you may have one mount if non-hunter to start with).
